I'm installing in a garden room onto OSB floor. There is 60mm insulation in the floor frame. Is the 6mm insulation plate still required as there is already insulation below the OSB?

I’m looking to use it behind the towel rail/radiator in the bathroom at the bottom so the heat radiates up to dry the towels in the summer & I can switch off the radiator from the gas boiler

Hi - my thermostat was installed for underfloor heating about 18 months ago and has been working fine. However there the thermostat seems to have died and will no longer switch on. Is it likely to be an issue with the thermostat itself or something else. There are no other power issues around it.

Can the room sensor be used to replace existing mechanical gas Central Heating thermostat, and the floor sensor connect separately to electric underfloor heat mat? Thanks, Tom

The underfloor heating worked for about 2weeks then started tripping the RCD. I've had this checked out and the reading is 33ohms and I have discovered that the matting is fitted underneath the bath and toilet. Is there any way, other than lifting the floor tiles and removing the bathroom fittings, to find where the fault is?

I'm laying 14mm thick click install engineered board in my kitchen, it's not 100% waterproof but can withstand spills. Can I lay this underneath it? If so, should I avoid laying it under the area near the kitchen sink? Or put matting above the flooring near the sink to protect it, and the foil underneath?

I see Room and E4 and can't alter anything except the temperature. Or does the error code mean that that's not going to work? All I want to do is manually turn it on from time to time, without a programme. Thank you!

Hi,
I'm doing a garage / gym conversion. I will be screeding the floor and laying a 4mm rubber gym flooring. Could you please advise if your heating foil electric underfloor heating product is compatible, and can the rubber floor be laid directly on to the heat mat? Also, what would you recommend as an insulation on the screed?
Many thanks.
Kris

We have 2 Intelligent Controllers serving the underfloor heating under our large tiled kitchen floor. Both have been set to identical Custom programs (Period 1 with initial on at 7.00am and off at 9.00pm 7 days a week). However, one of the controllers doesn't seem to conform to the custom program timings and operates continuously. This is irrespective of the temperature - for example with a Custom temp of 23 degrees the heating remains on at midnight when measured temp is 19 degrees. Is it possible taht the controller has been wired in such a way as to by-pass the program settings or could there be another explanation?
