According to the last European rules: SEMKO, CE approval (low voltage directive 73/23/EEC/ en 93/68/EEC/ EN 60335-2-96:2002+A1) Only 0.3 mm thick and 600mm wide, with a power output of 120 Watt/m² Maximum length: 25 meters x 0.60 meters. Klima foil sets can only be used for laminate and wooden floors with a maximum thickness of 22mm. The foil must never be adhered to the wood or laminate. We would advise that you consult the manufacturer of your wooden flooring to ensure that their product is suitable for use with electrical floor heating. The floor covering and underlay may not have a higher thermal resistance R = 0.18 W/m²K Foil Kits should only be used as extra heating (sub heating) and in dry conditions, IP X1 Floor temperature should be limited to 28 degree Celsius on the thermostat with floor sensor. Foil kits should always be installed on top of the 6mm foam insulation. Klima can supply these polystyrene insulation plates. The Klima Foil should also be covered by a 0.2mm moisture barrier.
