Floorheating Foil

The use of luxury timber flooring is becoming more common. The heating system can be placed directly underneath the wooden, parquet or laminate floors*. This very thin floor heating system (Only 0.3 mm!) is controlled by a digital clock-thermostat with floor sensor (Screwfix code 39460). This ensures an equal heat distribution.   We advise that your floor temperature is limited to 28°c. For dry areas only not suitable for bathrooms, wetrooms etc.

The system is simple to install, can be cut to size length ways every 20cm and ensures a comfortable warm environment when using a timber floor.

* Check with your flooring supplier the compatibility of the flooring with underfloor heating.

Easy to install

The system is very easy to install and requires no adhesive.  Firstly you would lay your 6mm foam insulation, cut and lay then crimp together your lengths of foils, cover with a moisture barrier then lay your floating wooden floor on top. We always recommend you read the full installation manual before installing.
